POEM_: Dialogues with Mother: VIII

Mother,
you ask me--
if I love him
more than
I love you?

Perhaps, I do.

Why?

Many reasons,
but most prominently, because
when I embarrass myself,
you get embarrassed
of me.

He, for me.

One word AWESOME.I don't know why our parents are so much ashamed of ourselves. Technically, the things and people we love and care, we never got embarrassed of them, never. I remember than when ever i got not excellent grades, my father used to get annoyed and frustrated and i used to struggle for getting that A+ rank which can make me his favorite. He has many reasons to dislike me, my obesity, my gaiety, my outspokenness, my not so much excellent grades but not a single reason to like me.
